| Bio: | I love Jesus Christ. He renews me daily. He is all that I will ever really need because He is all that is not temporary. I love music. It can take me away every time I need it to. I love being able to hear at least four different sounds all at once, blending into one. I love rock 'n' roll and I am not being cliché because I truly love it. It is the most incredible thing that man has ever invented. I live for concerts. I would like to be at a different show every night, in a different city everyday. I consider Penny Lane from "Almost Famous" to be my idol because she knows the ups and downs of this crazy existence, but she can't get away because she's truly a fan of the music. On the nights I can't be at a show, I am counting down the days until the next one. No far is too far to travel for a show if you can gather up your share of the gas money. People think I'm crazy, while they sit at home and see the same things day after day. I don't understand that sort of logic. Maybe part of that is because I live in Oklahoma which has been a great place to grow up, but can be extremely boring. For the record, I live in the city, we don’t ride horses, and I’ve never seen a teepee, so I’m not escaping from the Oklahoma you are probably imagining. It’s just like anywhere else. However, I have seen everything there is to see here and it just gets old after a while. When I'm in a car, headed somewhere, anywhere, there's a feeling in my stomach of anticipation that I can't find inside my apartment walls. New “Welcome to…“ signs make me way too excited. Also, seeing a random Stuckey’s or QuikTrip can make me act like a complete loser, but they are seriously awesome. My favorite place in the whole world is New York City. I want to live in Manhattan someday. It is the most incredible place on earth. Laying down in Strawberry Fields in Central Park was one of the most beautiful moments of my entire life. I hope I can someday do things like that often. I have never been out of the country, but I really want to go to Canada and I long to see all of Europe. I love Tulsa, Oklahoma. It is the only place that I've been to dozens of times that still makes me happy. I guess it's because there are a lot of people there who love music as much as I do. It definitely carries a lot of drama too though. I hate drama, but I think it follows me. I try to stay away from people who bring it my way. I hate sleep. I don't need much now, but I wish I didn't need any. I wish I could cut it out of my life completely because life is too short and too fun to be wasted on something I can't remember. I believe you should never settle. Settling is giving up on believing that everything is possible. And everything is possible. I love children. I'm studying elementary education. I want to inspire young minds to do great things. We're taught to grow up, but we probably should teach children not to. It's the only way to be happy because adults never stop worrying. Children don't have to worry about worrying. And they trust until someone takes that trust away. And they love unconditionally. I love politics. I vote Democratic. Yes, I did like John Kerry. And yes, I like Hillary Clinton and I hope she runs in 2008. And no, none of that makes me a bad Christian. If you want to talk about it, let me know. I know why I believe what I believe and am always willing to share. The best thing that ever happened to me was realizing completely who I am and why I believe everything I do and knowing that Jesus is on my side through anything. The worst thing that ever happened to me was losing my older brother. I'll never be the same and I miss him everyday. He was one of the best people I have ever known. Most people don’t like me when they first meet me. After they get to know me, those same people tell me that they don’t know how they ever disliked me. It hurts, but I guess it‘s better than never changing their opinions. I don‘t really understand how people can be mean to each other. I’ve been told over and over that I’m too nice, but I don‘t care. I want to be nice. I love my school. It wasn't my first choice. It was God's choice. And I couldn't be more thankful. I believe everything happens for a reason. I don't believe people when they say they have no regrets. I'm only in my twenties and I have plenty. I just have to remind myself that I couldn't change them if I tried. A song lyric by John Mayer says, "I believe that my life's gonna see the love I give returned to me." I believe that too. I love pretending I can play guitar. I really will play it someday, as soon as I can afford to buy myself a good one. I've wanted to learn since I was 12. I love watching football and hockey, but I am an observer, not a participater. Football gets me way too excited. I am one of those people who yells a lot during a good game, but you would probably never guess by looking at me. I love Dr. Pepper. I am seriously addicted to it and can't go a day without it. I hate Mr. Pibb and I hate when random restaurants in random states give it to me when I ask for Dr. Pepper. Just tell me you don't have Dr. Pepper, because I can tell the difference. I love Taco Bell and sadly, I think I could eat it everyday. I am a personal assistant and most of the time, I really like my job. I like myself. There's no one I'd rather be than me. If I wanted to be different, I would better myself until I was who I want to be. Each person controls who he or she is. This journal is friends only. Comment to be added.
